Store Update 2 - Site Accessibility, Updated Postage Options, and Faster Fulfillment

Hi everyone!

I wanted to give you an update on how we are improving the accessibility of the site for mobile and computer/laptop use. I will also go through the changes made to our updated postage prices (and why we have had to do this) and introduce new options to help you all get the best postage option for you.

Postage Service Update

We currently exclusively use Royal Mail as our postage provider, finding they offer the best service at the most reasonable price for our customers. However, they have recently increased their prices across the board.

What are we doing about it?

To make sure that the price increases effect you as little as possible, we have added back-end options to make sure that you only pay for the size and weight of the box you need.

Also, I have updated the options available to you through our postage provider, making it clearer what postage service you are paying for and providing a more detailed and easier-to-understand fulfilment time frame.

Below is an example of the new postage options available to you (this example is for a larger order, such as a booster box).

Pre-Ordering Fulfilment

From now on, if you place an order that includes a pre-order item, the entire order will not be shipped until the pre-order item is ready to ship.

However we will still ship partial orders if it is our (or our distributor's) fault that the order is not ready to ship. Any notice we receive that items may be delayed will be displayed on the item's page, giving the warning to avoid any issues.

Website Updates

You may have noticed some further changes on the site. These changes are currently being implemented and will continue to improve and streamline the site for the best possible experience for you to find the products you are looking for.

New collections have been added to the homepage to make it easier for you to find the games you are looking for, as well as further improvements to the filter system.

48 Hour Postage Delay

For those who have been using us for all your card needs for a while, you have probably noticed the slow fulfilment of your items. Moving forward, I aim to get all orders fulfilled and posted within 1 to 2 days of receiving the order. This will be directly related to the service used during checkout and the speed at which your order is dispatched. With this being the case, I shall be removing the 48-hour delay banner from the homepage of the site to roll out the new system in place and hope it improves fulfilment time and your overall experience with us.
