Exciting Changes Ahead: A Sneak Peek into Our Store's Future!

Hi everyone!

My name is Richard, and for those who don't know me, I am the store owner of Card Goblin and currently its only full-time employee.

I wanted to create a more personal post to give you some insights into our online store and its operations. My goal is to provide more transparency on how the store works and update you on our future plans, especially how we aim to expand our UniVersus and other game catalogs, making Card Goblin your one-stop shop for all card singles!

Where do I begin?

Website Updates

First, we’ve implemented several site-wide updates and accessibility features across our catalog. Some of you may have noticed the new filter system designed to help you find the cards you want more easily! This improvement is thanks to Tom, our resident tech genius, who has worked hard to enhance the site's overall user experience.

Shipping Delays and Postage Services

We’re addressing shipping delays and dispatch notifications. We are currently implementing a new fulfillment system to expedite order processing and reduce the current 48-hour delay. I aim to provide more details soon, but rest assured, we are working diligently to improve efficiency without causing further disruptions.

I am also aware of the issues encountered with our current postage provider, Royal Mail. The ongoing delays in getting orders out through us as a store, and the continual issues caused by Royal Mail's unreliable shipping process, have led to an increase in customer complaints regarding their products taking longer than expected to arrive or not being received at all. This is something I am looking into, and I have considered using a different postage provider. However, I will need to weigh the pros and cons and consider the potential impacts this could have on our customers as well as our store's operations.

I greatly appreciate your continued patience while I work diligently to fix these issue.

UniVersus Regional Season 2!

For all the UniVersus players, we’re excited to announce our presence at the Nottingham regional on July 27th & 28th. We will bring our entire UniVersus catalog, including the latest cards from Godzilla, Girl Power, and other sets. Make sure to visit us while stocks last! Thank you to Patriot games and UVS for inviting us again to this great event!

Plans for the future

Looking ahead, I plan to expand our UniVersus singles catalog and add more products to are already excisting products. We are beginning to add Star Wars Unlimited officially to our online store, alongside singles from other popular card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, and Magic: The Gathering. This means we are striving to become bigger and more efficient to meet your needs, providing you with the best possible service!

In the future, I aim to provide more transparency about our operations and their impact on you and the games we offer. We plan to create more video content, including bi-weekly store updates discussing new products, news, and current discounts. Additionally, we’re exploring live content to interact more personally with our community and continue collaborating with teams and individuals who have significantly helped us grow.
